M-Dor Secure
Morland FD30 & FD60 Door Sets are PAS 24:2022 tested & Secured by Design (SBD) accredited, offering the ultimate reassurance against forced access.

What does PAS 24:2022 testing involve?
PAS 24 certification is mandatory under Approved Document Q for all new dwellings in England and Wales. It demonstrates that your property meets modern security requirements. Testing for enhanced security performance of residential doors includes:
- Security hardware & cylinder attack tests using common tools to assess whether entry can be forced through the lock system (Annex A)
- Mechanical load testing, soft and hard-body impact, cutting tests, and manipulation attacks against the door and hardware (Annex B)
Only assemblies that resist direct, timed attacks without giving entry are PAS 24 compliant. This ensures your door performs as a complete system, not just its individual parts.

It is a common misconception that PAS 24 and Secures by Design (SBD) are the same. However, while PAS 24 focuses on a doorset’s ability to resist attack, Secured by Design is a voluntary police-backed accreditation, held only by products that:
- Have been tested to a recognised standard like PAS 24 by a UKAS-accredited body
- Maintain production audits and factory‑level quality control
Put simply, every SBD approved door must already pass PAS 24, but at Moland we are third party accredited by SBD demonstrating commitment to quality assurance and ongoing compliance.

Designed for efficient site installation, our doorsets include factory-fitted ironmongery, are pre‑hung, and ready to fit into the door aperture – reducing installation time, labour costs, snagging risks and non-compliance.
